U.S. ARMY DSSMP The Digital Switched System Modernization Program (DSSMP) is a firm fixed-price IDIQ contract valid through June 2007, which supports global switched system modernization requirements for the Army.  The contract is open to other DoD agencies and all federal civilian agencies. It provides state-of-the-art commercial products, allows for technology refreshment and provides a turnkey customer solution from engineering, integration, site preparation and installation, through system cutover, training, logistic support services and deinstallation, removal and shipping of equipment. It also provides the capability to seamlessly combine voice, data and transmission elements into a single integrated telecommunications system.
